Botanical Beauty

I ordered this canvas print for the store for its strikingly unique retro and floral imagery. When it arrived I couldn't stop staring at it...so it ended up coming home with me! I had to resign myself to the amusement of actually finding art from a manufacturer that I couldn't resist buying. Since I normally create or thrift all my art it seemed superfluous to straight up buy it new, but on pondering the idea of painting or collaging this concept myself I knew if I did I would look at it and just keep dreaming of the perfection of this piece. It is sublime. I applaud you, anonymous contemporary artist, for bringing beautiful art into the mass produced market! Well done, you are using your talents wisely, and I am thrilled to buy your work.

Mandy's

 I went to Montréal (again) and fell in love...with this restaurant. Mandy's. I've never been in a restaurant that is as close to an embodiment of my own personal style as this place, both in terms of stunning décor and gourmet allergy-friendly food which is incredibly rare! It's like the creators crawled inside my brain and lounged on a sofa in there for a while, soaking up the details. It was like walking into my Creatively Graceful Boutique design realized as a restaurant, with a dash of tropical paradise thrown in for originality. Can I just point out that pink and gold semicircular channel back banquet?!

Details of Anthropologie

The thing that impresses me the most with Anthropologie is the level of creativity and detail that goes into their merchandising and displays, including their use of found items as fixtures. I have had the special opportunity to help set up the new Ottawa store, and snapped some photos within to highlight the thoughtfulness that went into every last stitch and nail. Their merchandising complements their delightfully detailed products.

The glowing name and curious quilt draw the viewer in.
