I'm flitting around, doing some seasonal shopping, dreaming up gifts, making said gifts, fashioning festive outfits, and grand jeté-ing and swinging out to Christmas tunes at every opportunity!

Noël House

I would be proud to call this my home! How completely charming. This home in my neighbourhood always has the most perfect curb appeal décor, making the most of their painted brick and lovingly distressed wooden windows and doors. Check out those candy cane filled swags, that jingle bell wreath, and, of course, that Noël.

 A little follow-up from Almonte's Holiday Night Market...here's Baker Bob's and Tin Barn Market during the day! Punches of red, the whole Gingie clan, baby firs, and a skating bunny. Absolutely charming!

Shooting Star

I got this ornament last year at Tin Barn Market. Oh this glam star encrusted with beads--it's just been hanging year-round on my bedroom door handle! Tonight I'm off to do some festive shopping at Tin Barn and other such locales under the twinkly sky at Almonte's Holiday Night Market!

O Christmas Tree

I love to snuggle under the pastel glow of a shiny brite filled Christmas tree and ponder, as the song goes:

"O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

How richly God has decked thee!

Thou bidst us true and faithful be,

Bakeware

I see festive potential in this pile of bakeware! The shine and patina of the silver starbursts, swirls, and scallops...think wreaths, reflectors, candle holders, and ornaments.  

Crown Jars

I love these crown jars, with their pressed glass crown logo and zinc patina lids. Hot chocolate mix, anyone?

Nordic Sweater

I have been on the hunt for a black and white Nordic sweater for years and this $5 beauty jumped off the thrift store rack at me the other day! The red collar makes it extra mid-century ski outfit-esque.
