Loving the pattern and flowy hand of this Liberty scarf! Also the blue and orange contrast is so cheery. I dug it out of a scarf pile at the local thrift store and was not surprised to see the name. That iconic illustrative style!

Whenever I am thrifting I keep an eye out for Liberty clothes! The calico cottons are unmistakable. My latest acquisition is the William Morris Strawberry Thief shirt. These florals make my heart sing!

Subconscious Shopping Palettes

The other day I went to a couple garage sales wearing a dress of this lovely Liberty print. I bought these 4 teacups, and when I got home I realized how they as a whole strangely coordinated with the dress fabric. 

That was not the first time that has happened to me; every time I shop I seem to have an unintentional colour scheme going with my purchases. So note to self: always be surrounded by beautiful (inspirational) things!
