Rushing Waters

I have been delighting in the abundant beauty of life this weekend! There is so much vibrant hope visibly (and invisibly) surrounding us through the enchantment that is springtime. He is risen!
"Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!" --Revelation 19:6

Overcome with Good

I adore the hope of Easter in Christ! In moments when things are seemingly hopelessly flustered I praise Jesus for His beautiful truth, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

He has overcome the world!

Enlightened Hearts

"...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His great might that He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come."

Happy Easter!

Ah, the art of Easter egg dyeing. 

Yesterday my mom and I sat ourselves down with a PAAS dye kit and over a dozen eggs. We made some:

...bright and cheerful eggs...

 ...rather unappetizing 70s retro eggs (originally brown eggs instead of white)...

 ...springtime eggs (note the scallops and 60s mod floral)...

 ..."I don't exactly know what happened here" eggs...

 ...vibrant colonial eggs (also originally brown eggs)...

...and rustic sunset eggs (with another attempt at scallops)!

However, the true meaning of Easter is much more beautiful:

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." 

-Jesus in John 11:25
