I found this vintage sewing work bag at a fabric rummage sale for $0.25. It's probably from the 1940s. I wonder how many garments were tossed in here and lovingly stitched back together. Make do and mend!

Forever Flowers
When I turned 7 I went to Michael's and spent all my birthday money on fake flowers...as you can see I'm still a fan of these perky plastic and silk blooms! These lily of the valley clusters look especially real, and they brighten up any room they fill! There's nothing like instant and constant cheer!

4th Blogiversary!
Appliances, fruit, flowers, linen, and silk are 4th anniversary gifts, so here are two new surface pattern designs celebrating those items!
